About Annelise
I’m an executive coach, founder and former consultant. I work with thoughtful leaders who are navigating complexity, transition and the deeper questions that often sit underneath visible leadership challenges.
The leaders I work with are usually capable, committed and used to being relied on. But there are moments when more effort, more analysis or more advice is not what is needed. What is needed is space to think clearly, reconnect with your own judgement, and understand what the situation is asking of you.
That is the work of The Delta.

Research focus on identity, being and leadership
Before becoming a coach, I founded two businesses and led teams in fast-moving startups and scaleups, where uncertainty was the everyday weather.
I know what it feels like to make decisions with incomplete information, carry responsibility for other people, manage pressure from different directions, and keep moving when the path is not clear.
I have also known the temptation to keep doing more: to meet the next demand, hold the next responsibility, solve the next problem. Part of my own work has been learning that value does not only come from usefulness, output or being able to cope. That learning sits quietly underneath how I coach.
Earlier in my career, I was a senior consultant at Deloitte, working with organisations through change, complexity and growth. That experience still shapes how I think: commercially, practically and systemically.

Why identity sits at the heart of my work
My Master’s research explored identity: how we understand who we are, not only what we do.
That question matters deeply in leadership. Many people build careers by being capable, useful, resilient and productive. Those qualities can take you a long way. But at some point, the question can change.
It may no longer be only:
What do I need to do?
It may become:
Who am I in this role?
What am I no longer willing to carry?
What kind of leader am I becoming?
Where does my real value come from?
For me, coaching is not only about performance. It is about self-trust, choice, purpose and the capacity to act from who you are.
How I work
My coaching is reflective, challenging and practical.
I create the conditions for honest thinking, but I will not simply sit back and nod. I ask direct questions, notice patterns, offer observations and help you look at what may be shaping your choices beneath the surface.
At the same time, coaching with me is not advice-giving. I am not there to hand you answers or tell you who to become. The work is about helping you hear yourself more clearly, reconnect with your own judgement and move forward in a way that feels grounded and truly yours.
Where advisory or mentoring support is useful, we can contract for that separately and clearly.
